Brownie bites can be made from any regular brownie recipe - these ones are made from the recipe on this post. This recipe makes about 3 dozen brownie bites.
To make brownie bites, you'll need a mini-muffin pan. Spray the pan with non-stick cooking spray and wipe off any excess. Preheat the oven to 350° F.
Mix up a batch of brownie batter, and scoop approximately 2 tablespoons into each cup. The cups should be full, but not spilling over.
Bake brownie bites for 12 to 17 minutes. Brownies are done when a toothpick inserted in the center comes out almost clean (the center should not be wet, but if the toothpick comes out completely clean then they may be overdone.)
Remove the brownie bites from the mini-muffin pan once they have cooled, then serve plain or decorate. These were decorated with piped buttercream stars (Ateco #824 tip, vanilla buttercream flavored with melted bittersweet chocolate.)

MAYBE this would help me with portion control:) YUM!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the recipe/help making these- wanted to use my mini muffin pan more but didn't know how to measure/how long to bake, etc. Great post!
ReplyDeleteThese are so cute! I love the little bit of frosting on tip.
ReplyDeleteYummy...
ReplyDeleteCute! Mini anything is just so much more fun! :)
ReplyDeleteFantastic help! Just used my own recipe, set the oven for 325 and baked for 15 minutes checking them at 13 minutes with a tooth pic just as you suggested. I sprayed the muffin tins with cooking oil and they popped right out, have fantastic texture, not burnt, not over cooked, just perfect!!! Thank you!
