Ingredients

  • 4 large carrots, peeled and sliced into coins
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.

  2. Add the carrots to the skillet and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  3. Sprinkle the brown sugar and salt over the carrots and stir to coat.

  4. Reduce the heat to low and cover the skillet. Cook for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the carrots are tender.

  5. Remove from heat and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
